I am from San Jose California. I have been DJ-ing for 12 years. Professionally for 10. I have my own business, The Beat Syndicate, have DJ-ed all over the Bay Area, and DJ every type of music for every type of event- corporate events, birthdays, house parties, clubs, weddings, campus events, etc. I have been collecting vinyl for 3 years and have over 500 records. I love music, DJ-ing, and value technique and mixing/blending.

1. How long have you been a DJ?
12 Years..2. How and why did you start DJ-ing?
I thought it was cool and I grew up always listening to music. I started buying equipment and learning how to DJ, teaching myself. I love music and love mixing music together.
What or Who inspired you to become a DJ? Why?
My dad inspired me. He used to DJ when he was younger. Also, I got really interested after seeing the DJ battles in the movie Juice.
Are there any upcoming events or pieces that you are currently working on?I
DJ Lyricist Lounge every month in UC 4th. I'm going to be doing a couple of events for Latinas Unidas and MECHA in March. I've been DJing clubs in SF and San Jose.
What advice would you give to up-and-coming DJs?
Play something other than EDM and don't waste your money on a $1,000 deck.
